Into the sun we fly There is no earth to keep us now And if tomorrows pass us by Keep hope and dreams alive Keep hope and dreams alive Sunset, life never met Sooth, so, so, sooth Life's hollow womb Into the sun we fly There is no earth to keep us now And if tomorrows pass us by Keep hope and dreams alive Keep hope and dreams alive Sunset, life never met Sooth, so, so, sooth Life's hollow womb Life's hollow womb Life's hollow womb Into the sun we fly

Catch the summer sun Before the summer's gone Before the summer's through Wile away the hour Before the hour consumes Before the hour consumes This life is a sofa thrown This life is an olive stone This life is it heaven sent This life, this life, this life, this life Catch the summer sun Before the summer's gone Before the summer's through Wile away the hour Before the hour consumes Before the hour consumes This life is it made of stone This life isn't all our own This life is in awe of you This life, this life, this life, this life You could be anything you want You could be anything you want You could be anything you want You could be anything you want Wile away the hour Before the hour consumes Before the hour consumes

Retro Song 02:32
Standing at the railway station Waiting for the next trend to come along As we stand in line, a worn out sign Informs us a new fashion has begun Oh Retro, Retro Song Oh won't you all sing along And the world you knew Is almost through Apart from the Retro Song As we celebrate the better days The rose tinted glasses spoil the view And we throw away an old cliché Another one does stumble into you Oh Retro, Retro Song Oh won't you all sing along And the world you knew Is almost through Apart from the Retro Song As we sail the ship of ownership Another thing to have comes along In this burden of possessions Are we drowning in the waste of our wants Oh Retro, Retro Song Oh won't you all sing along And the world you knew Is almost through Apart from the Retro Song Oh Retro, Retro Song Oh won't you all sing along And the world you knew Is almost through Apart from the Retro Song Apart from the Retro Song Apart from the Retro Song

I understand you're different from me This distant land has come into being We arrive there, yeah We arrive where? I only hope one day we learn to give and live together I'm sick and tired all this fighting, yeah, yeah, yeah whatever So rewrite tomorrow Coz we arrive tomorrow That grand design has run out of time Will we make it there or will we resign Half way there, yeah Long wait, yeah I only hope one day we learn to live and give together I'm sick and tired all this fighting, yeah, yeah, yeah whatever So rewrite tomorrow Coz we arrive tomorrow

about

This Second Album from The Gravitons is a collection of songs that never made it to the first album or the forthcoming third album. Don't let that put you off though, as it's probably a better album for it.

An eclectic mix of tracks ranging from Acoustic Folk and Psychedelia through to Indie and Electronica.

Many are one-offs or experiments, created in the moment, often arriving when trying out a new gadget or instrument.

Lo-fi Keyboards, Stylophones, Theremins (or at least trying to emulate one) and FM Synth tracks, sit alongside more familiar sounding guitar based songs.

If you enjoy the pop eccentricities of Beck, the improvisations of Velvet Underground, early Pink Floyd and Brian Eno, and the harmonies of the Byrds and the Beatles then you're sure to enjoy 'Institutionalism' by The Gravitons.

A genre jumping audio bazaar - So sit back, relax and enjoy the journey
